Well I have  to say I am having  fun with my  new camera gear.  These three photos are   taken with my new Nikon D300s  and  a  70-200 2.8 lens.  I  dont  know if this  is  the  same  hawk that comes back every year but  it  is of the  same kind.  When I am outside at  work, this guy could care  less if   I am close to him and  I do mean close.  I have gotten within 3 feet of him.  The first photo was  taken in the  barn which I was going in there for an  unknown reason  (LOL).  In the  2nd  photo I was about  15  feet or  so  from him  standing on some  pipe  and  the  last one  was taken on  Friday morning  on top of  some  steel.  One  thing  cool  about  him is that the  flash  doesn’t   bother  him. Enjoy. JJ

  1. Nice photos, Justin. I think this is a Cooper’s hawk.
