We are use to seeing pictures of deer, hogs, snakes, etc…associated with Texas but sometimes it takes an interesting photo like this to remind us that much of Texas was built around ranching and farming. Just take a close look at this guy. How would you like to tangle with him up close? I found him on a neighboring ranch munching on some mesquite and grass. I had heard he was sold as a mount to a restaurant but the deal fell through. We are blessed, as Texans, to be part of a state that was built around the family farm and ranch. A whole lot has evolved as a result of that fact. As you look at the random photos below consider going outside today and taking a picture of something. It just may make you appreciate life “in Texas” more.
