We hit the family stocked pond for some family fun and a little tank management. Caught several nice bass on lures and grasshoppers and fried them up that evening. The surprise of the day was how tasty perch is compared to fresh bass. Thanks to all who pitched in on the good time.cook

George, looks like you had a great holiday trip. You are right a big bluegill, red ear, or crappie is much better tasting than bass although fresh bass is pretty good. The main thing is to keep the family fishing together.
