Well I hope everybody had a good new year. This is my first post to the Lodge for 2010. I have to say if i got these photo’s the first of the year who knows what the rest will be like. lol. I took these photo’s in Llano. I was invited by some other photographer buddies. The lady who manages these bird’s is from out of state and goes to state parks to give talks about them.
The owl is 27 years old and the cara-cara is 34 years old. They are well taken care of. When I first saw the lady pull up, the owl was sitting on the seat not in a cage and loose in the van. I was shocked.

Well I hope ya’ll enjoy and have a safe new year. May it be better than last year.
