The stocked tank not only made for some fun fishing but excellent dove bait. They were thirsty to say the least. I will tell you the main fun was with family however. Luke and I hung out with the rest of the Townsend Clan and had a great time. I hope to make it down again soon.

Zilker Botanical Garden — located on 30 acres in Austin, Texas has often been called “the jewel in the heart of Austin”. Theme gardens such as rose, herb and Japanese garden are interconnected with streams, waterfalls and Koi-filled ponds. The Hartman Prehistoric Garden recreates local dinosaur habitat. This garden is a unique collaboration between The City of Austin Parks & Recreation Department (PARD) and the Austin Area Garden Council (AAGC). The garden is free and open to the public most days year-round and is enjoyed by over 400,000 visitors each year, including thousands of school children from Austin and the surrounding communities. Well I havent been out much taking photos do to the nice Texas heat. But over the last week of June and some of July I have been going down to Zilker park to take photo’s. While there is not much down there to photo this time of year I have found some nice lilly pads to photo. I hope to go back soon and see what else I can get so I can post some more.
