I know you were expecting a nice bass but this actually is the smallest bass I have ever seen on a hook. It barely got it’s mouth around it and measured a total of 4 to 5 inches in length. We found a grub worm by one of the feeders and decided to put it under a bobber at the El Maso Pond. It was cold so the fish action was slow so we just let the bait sit for a while. After 30 minutes or so we decided to reel it in so Luke grabbed the pole and the rest is history. Get ready to get your lines wet and go for a record of your own. Number of View :459

A friend and I hit a neighboring creek for some fishing and fun in the great outdoors this morning. We started off slamming some donuts and coffee and proceeded to head towards our fishing spot. Brad had fished here on several occasions so we had taken some minnows for the bait of choice per his experience. We were able to catch a large selection of fish as a result and had a blast. Below you will see photos of bass, catfish, gar, perch and crappie. I want to thank Brad Pharr for taking me to the local fishing hole and showing me the ropes. I would have used artificial only and would have been skunked. All fish were caught and released thanks to small hooks. Go fishing soon and share with the lodge…..
